To elicit participant feedback regarding the 2020 Spring Integration Across the Lifespan Meeting.
The 2020 Spring CTSA Program Meeting took place on April 14th and 15th, 2020 (via Zoom, per the COVID-19 outbreak). After the meeting, registered attendees were sent an individualized unique survey link to complete the 2020 Spring Program Meeting Logistics evaluation, regardless of whether or not they attended. Additionally, two follow-up reminder emails were sent to individuals who had not responded.
Registered attendees were asked questions about their overall experience attending the Program Meeting and then were asked to indicate which individual meetings they had attended. Respondents were then directed to a survey queue to complete evaluations for each individual meeting they attended. The Program Meeting Logistics evaluation was sent to 555 registered attendees, 68 of them attended the 2020 Spring Integration Across the Lifespan Meeting held on April 15, 2020.
A total of seven of the 68 registered attendees completed the 2020 Program Meeting Logistics evaluation and indicated that they had attended for the Integration Across the Lifespan Meeting, resulting in a response rate of 10.3%. However, of the seven respondents, only four of them went on to complete the 2020 Spring Common Metrics Initiative evaluation. The meeting topics included the NIH Lifespan Workshop and results from the Lifespan and Life Course Research Un-Meeting.
All respondents “agreed” or “strongly agreed” that the topics presented at the meeting were valuable, that the meeting addressed expectations, that the meeting was a valuable addition to ongoing teleconferences, and that the meeting helped clarify the priorities for the Integration Across the Lifespan group going into 2020. Despite the difficulties presented in shifting the meeting to an entirely virtual format, all respondents were “satisfied” or “very satisfied” with the meeting overall.
