In this 60-minute interactive workshop provided by the Education Resource Center (ERC) at the Southern California Clinical and Translational Science Institute (SC CTSI), facilitators will offer a new planning resource and workflow for coaching presenters on how to optimize the organization of their webinars and workshops. Using the provided resource as a template should assist with the marketing, assessment, and follow-up of any planned educational offering. Participants will work with colleagues in breakout groups to identify ways to optimize the preparation of their educational offerings per recommendations and plan their updated workflow for hosting an educational event. This workshop is recommended for university faculty, researchers, scholars, and other subject experts who typically are asked to guest host webinars and workshops and/or those assisting faculty/subject experts with the design, marketing, assessment, and follow-up of their educational webinars and workshops. This might also be of interest to TAs and graduate students pursuing a career in teaching.
